Ronaldinho Transfer Unlikely – Galliani
Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has revealed that it is unlikely that the club will be signing Ronaldinho.
The Rossoneri have been very active on the transfer market, and have already snapped up Mathieu Flamini, Marco Borriello and Gianluca Zambrotta ahead of next season.
Another player who has been strongly linked with a move to San Siro is Barcelona’s Ronaldinho, who is almost certain to leave Camp Nou after a miserable season on-and-off the pitch.
Galliani has admitted that the Brazilian is someone that Milan are following, but he says that a transfer is unlikely.
"The next one will be an attacker, but I never said that we'd sign Ronaldinho,” said Galliani when quizzed about the Diavoli’s next transfer move.
"He is one of the many that we are following, but a little less than others.
"If we return to playing with a midfielder and two strikers, it is more likely we'll seek an attacking midfielder.”
Sources in Italy suggest that Milan’s top transfer target now is Ronaldinho’s club team-mate Samuel Eto’o. |
