Following the rather surprising flood of complaints rushing forward from discontented gamers taking receipt of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 – a longstanding sporting franchise accustomed to receiving little more than widespread perennial praise – creator Konami has stepped forward in a move to quell the wave of user dissatisfaction.

More specifically, Konami’s eagerly anticipated PES 2008 has met with an unusual degree of unrest since it was released (in Europe) on October 26, with significant framerate issues and instances of (occasionally horrific) slowdown tainting the renowned football title’s gameplay.

Ahead of the game’s release in Australia on November 02 (the genre-leading football title should arrive in North America in Q1, 2008), Konami has said that players entering the PES 2008 online lobby via the PlayStation Network will be met with a notice from the Japanese gaming studio outlining that certain issues have been isolated and that the game’s creators are working at “full strength to find a solution as quickly as possible.”
According to online gaming magazine Pro-G, Konami’s UK-based offices have offered that the company is presently working toward a specific Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 patch, which will be released with a view to addressing gameplay problems occurring in both online and offline gameplay.
Unfortunately, Konami is presently unable to confirm exactly when this (much needed?) patch will arrive, or how it will help offline players to curb the apparent gameplay difficulties being experienced with the usually top-tier football title.

与konami的厚望向左，10月26日在欧洲发售后，实况08因为严重的画面帧速以及游戏速度缓慢的问题引起了消费者群体的震动。
面对即将到来的澳洲发售会，konami公司宣布现在通过ps network进入pes2008会客厅的玩家将会看到来自japanese gaming studio的一个问题集锦，而工程师们正在针对这些问题进行“最吐血的努力～～”
据pro-g报道，konami的英国部正在加紧制作补丁，同时还会公布一个线上及线下游戏常见问题的目录。
不过konami也没有确定该补丁的发行时间，同时也并没有保证该补丁是否能够解决当前玩家所遇到的诸多问题
