Celtic join PES 2019 partner club

KONAMI Digital Entertainment BV has announced Celtic as its latest partner club for the forthcoming PES 2019. KONAMI will also produce a special, limited club edition of the game for fans.

Fresh from winning their seventh consecutive Scottish Premiership title, Celtic’s club, its stars and the iconic Celtic Park - which will be made available via download after launch - will all be perfectly recreated in the forthcoming PES 2019. KONAMI will be employing its stunning 3D scanning systems to ensure that the club’s squad are perfectly represented in-game. Each player will be scanned by dozens of cameras from every angle, while KONAMI’s technical team will ensure that individual skills and abilities, along with playing styles, are matched in every way.

The partnership comes as KONAMI integrates the full Scottish Premiership into the PES series for the first time. Each of the clubs will appear in official kits and iconography through post-launch data pack releases and ensure that all stats and squads are updated on a weekly basis.

Celtic’s massive contribution, however, will be celebrated with a Limited Edition club version of PES 2019. Fans will be able to purchase a specially-branded Celtic Edition featuring bespoke DLC and content. Only 1,000 will be available, and demand is certain to be great. PES 2019 will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, and PC STEAM, on August 30. PES 2019 will be available in two physical editions, with new global ambassador Phillippe Coutinho on the front cover of the standard edition and David Beckham on a special edition which gives fans the opportunity to unlock myClub bonuses. Also available at launch will be a digital-only Legend edition that will include even more content for myClub!
