Manchester United have the best away record in the prem by a mile, but we are yet to register an away victory in the 2007 calender year- because we have been hit with some late sucker punches in games we really should have won.

Be that as it may, I'm not complaining because we are still six points ahead with 13 game left. Rooney seems to be back to his old self, because as everone can see his first touch is brilliant, and that is ominous to have both Rooney and Ronaldo playing well.

Spurs really gave a good account of themselves at Arsenal in the Carling Cup semi-final and some aweful defending cost them a place in the Carling Cup final. They will be mentally and physically strained and drained, we will go out and look for an early goal in this match, if we do that their heads might drop.

Out old friend from Benfica Ricardo Roca will be playing in the Spurs line up, and Spurs do have striker selection problems of their own, with news that Robbie Kean might be injured. We have a fully fit squad apart from Saha who is the only injury doubt and he might return for this one.

In the bigger picture we relly do need to win this game because Chelsea who play Charlton on Saturday could cut our lead to 3 points, and that should be moivation enough. We have Spurs, Charlton and Fulham this month and if we win the 3 game, we'll be only 21 points short to reach the set 90 point target to get in our last 10 games.

Player to Watch: Wayne Rooney- Althought Ronaldo was brilliant in the Watford game almost everting went through Rooney, who also scored another delightful chip.
