I forgot to mention, I have downloaded the NVIDIA photoshop plugins which makes you a bump from a texture and tried to do the bump with the plug-in but no success :-). Is it good too use those plug-ins or crazy bump for example or it's better to do all parts separately and the assemble them?

I think you are missing something because if you make good textures the bump its easier.. all you have to do its use the layers from the texture to create the bump, using the bevel emboss method.. all separately because bevel and emboss with a no layers texture only works on edges..

Yes I know all that, I have tried a lot of times, but which tool do you use for selecting diferent layers of the texture, so that when you use bevel and emross, the textures are so perfect, with this I mean no sharp edges for example?
