The alpha texture of the bump must have a different global light for the effect looks better ingame..if you take a look on the konami Bump textures you will see that the light on the texture is from up to down ( angle 90o ) and in the alpha its from left to right ( angle 180o )..hope this help you ;)
Yes I understand what you mean, you are telling me that I should do all the bump layers with 90 degrees angle instead of 180. I always do the bump this way, I first put all the layers together with different angles, for example I always made the upper texture with 180 degrees angle, then I copy the all the upper materials onto a new layer, I merge the textures, make the texture with the 90 degrees angle and put it back onto the main layer
Complicated your way to do it and not the correct way imo.. just try to set 90o on global light when embossing the texture because when you finish the bump you just have to change the global light in one of the layers to 180o and all of them will change and you have the alpha texture with one click.. very quickly and easy ;)
Yes I know, my way of designing the bump it's quite complicated :), but i'm used to do it this way. I use different angles for the textures because some parts of the boot looks better with the 180 degrees angle than a 90 degree angle, for example the upper and the tongue
Did you have any problems with the download, because I download the update and nothing happens, it just resets the game back to version 1.00. Can you send me the new boots from adidas, nike and puma
