Although Milan have deemed Ronaldinho too expensive, the player’s agent insists he is desperate to join them.
“We are working to take the best player in the world to the greatest club in the world,” said Roberto De Assis.
“We have always had an excellent rapport with Milan and are in constant contact. The chances of Ronaldinho playing with a Rossoneri jersey this coming season remain the same as they were a few months ago.”
However, last week Milan general manager Adriano Galliani said Ronaldinho had received a “crazy offer” from England that they could not compete with.
Barcelona have confirmed they want to sell Ronaldinho this summer and would prefer to make as much money from his sale as possible, but the player has no intention of moving to Manchester City.
Another alternative is Chelsea with Brazilian Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari now taking over, but ‘Dinho’s agent has made it clear what the first choice is and always has been.
De Assis also pointed out it was highly unlikely any deal would be concluded before the Olympics in August, which will see Ronaldinho playing for the Brazilian squad.
