Korea beat Uzbekistan 2-0 in the third game of the second qualification round for the 2008 Beijing Olympics at Ansan city on March 28, Wednesday night. <BR><BR>Adding three more points, Korea kept its top ranking in Group F and moved step closer to the final qualification round. <BR><BR>It was a shaky start for Korea as they couldn't expect opponent's high attacking aggression immediately after kick off but it didn't take long for them to control the game. In the 34th minute of the game Han Dong Won's header on a cross by Lee Gen Ho helped Korean side to finish the first half with leading the game 1-0. <BR><BR>Korea continued to control the game at the 2nd half and created number of chances not to give any chances for the Uzbekistan side to comeback. <BR><BR>As Han Dong Won blew his easy chances away at the 2nd half, fans were almost giving up their hope to see more goals for Korea as time goes to the end of the game but Han's never give up attempts brought a fantastic right foot volley to the top left side of the goal, leaving Uzbekistan goalkeeper with no chance of making a save at all in the 40th minute of the 2nd half, which was his fourth goal in two recent games. <BR><BR>Korean Olympic team will have two away games in a row, Uzbekistan on April 18 and Yemen on May 16. Next home game against UAE on June 6, will be their last game of the second qualification round and two top teams from each group of six will advance to the final qualification round of 3 groups of 4 teams.
