Chimps have released a number of option files as most people have different views on how the game should play, the most obvious thing being people's different preferences to game speed.

Harder defences to break down
Faster closing down on players on the ball
More realistic player movements
More varied attacking and defending patterns
Better keepers
Improved stamina
Slightly tweaked shooting and passing.

These option files use tweaked versions of the Buli patch option files, as displayed in the CUSTOMS patch in the pacthes section. Obviously, big thanks to that team for providing such quality strips and teams.

Also thanks to Mosu for his continued work on his editor, without which this style of editing would be impossible.

There is more differences than just speed between each option file and some will play different depending on machine spec and even joystick used, so it is best to try each as some are harder than others. These were designed to be played on Professional or Top Player settings.

THESE OPTION FILES ARE DESIGNED TO BE PLAYED WITH KONAMI PATCH 1.1. IF YOU USE THESE ON 1.2, THE GAME PLAYS FAR TOO EASY. If anyone needs a link to Konami patch 1.1 and cannot find it, I will post it, it can installed over 1.2.

Instructions(this may vary from the normal method, but I find this best when working on Vista, as it sometimes has problems with editing program files and can cache deleted files)

1.Unpack the rar file downloaded
2.Open AFS explorer
3.Select File - Import AFS
4.(Change file type to All) Select cv_0.img
5.Select Action - Import Folder
6.Select the cv_0.img folder in the downloaded option pack
7.Select Yes to rebuild
8.Save with the name cv_0(new).img into the konami 2008 .img folder
9.Select Action - Import Folder
10.Select the cv_0.img folder in the downloaded option pack
11.Within AFS explorer, select file import, highlight the original cv_0.img file and delete it, then rename cv_0(New).img to cv_0.img
12.Close AFS explorer.
13.Carry out the above actions again, but this time importing the cv_1.img file.
14.Select an option file and copy it into C:UsersNameDocumentsKONAMIPro Evolution Soccer 2008save. You may need to delete any existing bin files in here

只是有几个速度不同的存档。。并且这个补丁不只是调节速度。。有如下作用：

因为很多人对于游戏的运行有不同的偏爱，所以chimps发布了这个选项补丁，其中最明显的一个分歧就在于对游戏速度的看法。
这个补丁将要做到：
更强硬而难以被攻破的防守
第二句我不会
更符合现实的球员动作
更多样的进攻防守模式
守门员表现更好
增强的体能
一定改良的射门和传球

这系列的选项文件使用了buli补丁的修正版中的一些文件 所以要感谢那个小组 同时还要感谢某某等

除了游戏速度外，还有很多的与原版游戏的变化。当然这些变化能否体现以及怎样体现，取决于你的机器性能，你的游戏难度等等，甚至手柄的设置

这个补丁需要打在官方的1.1补丁之基础上，如果是1.2版 那么游戏就可能变得十分简单

使用说明：（这可能与平时我所熟知的方法有所区别，但我发现这在vista下运行的更好，因为这在编辑程序文件时，会出现些小问题，可以缓存被删除的文件）（这段我译的不好，纯粹就字翻译，未能传意）
1，解压下载文件
2，打开AFS
3，选择文件，导入
4，选择“所有文件”，选择cv_0.img
5，选择导入文档
6，选择下载补丁文件中的cv_0.img
7，确认“新建”
8，建新文件名***.img，保存到游戏目录的img文件夹里
9，10，11，在AFS软件中，选择文件导入，高亮原来的cv_0.img，然后删除，之后将刚才建的新cv_0.img替换之（这段的实际意思就是用新建的文件覆盖原来的）
12，关闭AFS程序
13，再对cv_1.img文件做上述同样的导入工作
14，选择一个选项文件，复制到我的文档里的科纳米文件夹。当然你可以删除你原来的文档，随你
