Sir Alex Ferguson admits he is undecided over whether or not to throw Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic straight back into action against AC Milan on Wednesday night.
The Reds' first choise defensive pairing are fit again and flew out to Italy with the squad on Tuesday morning ahead of United's Champions League semi-final second leg.
Sir Alex is delighted to have them back at his disposal for such a crucial match, but he's unsure about whether they will start at the San Siro.
"Vidic got the all clear from the specialist on Monday and Rio has done some training over the last two or thre days," revealed the Reds' boss at his pre-match press conference.
"With both of them we have a decision to make, frankly I'm nowhere near making it. I need to see them train.
"I'd be delighted to play them both, but I don't know if that's possible."
The Reds are currently 3-2 ahead in the tie after coming from behind to claim victory over the Rossoneri last week at Old Trafford.
