Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. has announced that it has entered a top partnership agreement with JAPAN PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE (below, J. LEAGUE) starting from January of 2018.
Under the Winning Eleven brand that has been enjoyed by fans for more than 20 years, KONAMI has been providing a variety of soccer game content, including action, club management, and card collection games, as part of our continual effort to broaden and excite soccer fans.
Through our partnership with J. LEAGUE, we aim to bring further development to professional soccer in Japan by utilize smartphones, which are the most commonly owned device, in order to provide more opportunity to engage with J. LEAGUE even when it’s not match day or during the off season. As of Fall 2018, the mobile game will include the J. LEAGUE official license, and will also be holding J. LEAGUE verified eSports tournaments.
Konami will continue to release develop and distribute games with the highest quality to provide more customers with exciting game experiences.
